MAD-Werk Ltd. – Company Profile
MAD-Werk Kft. was established in 1990, specializing in the manufacture of custom metal structures. Our scope of activities includes welder training, the production of welded structures at our facility, as well as design and drafting. Our products are primarily manufactured for the railway sector, and to a lesser extent, for customers in the food and pharmaceutical industries.
Our production technologies include tube and sheet metal bending and laser cutting, certified welding, locksmithing, machining processes, and abrasive blasting. We are glad to design and draft various welded structures, or gladly participate in custom product development.
Our Company
Our company works exclusively with aluminum and stainless steel materials. Over the years, our workforce has expanded to 70 employees, which includes 25 certified welders, welding and mechanical engineers, as well as skilled machinists and locksmiths. Our production area covers 3,000 square meters. Our welding certifications cover the welding of aluminum and stainless steel using TIG (141) and MIG (131) processes.
Driven by incoming orders, our company’s manufacturing profile has shifted primarily toward railway manufacturing. We obtained our ISO 9001 certification in 2004, the EN ISO 3834-2 and DIN EN 15085-2-CL1 certifications in 2010, and the EN 1090-2 and EN 1090-3 EXC3 welding workshop certifications in 2014. Environmental protection is highly important to us; therefore, the implementation of the ISO 14001 environmental management certification is currently underway. We are proud that our welded products can now be found at several foreign companies operating in the railway manufacturing sector.
To serve our existing and new customers at a higher level of quality, continuous developments in manufacturing technology are underway, affecting both our machinery and, naturally, our highly skilled professionals. We ensure the consistent quality of our products through continuous inspection during the manufacturing stages, as well as by performing and documenting final non-destructive testing (VT, PT, UT) as required.
Our goal is to provide reliable service that meets all of our customers’ requirements and to continuously strengthen our market position. I consider our strength to be our flexibility in adapting to new challenges.

Detailed presentation of the project content:
Within the framework of the present project, the Company intends to procure 3 welding tables, 4 welding machines and a forklift. The main purpose of the project is capacity expansion. By using the new machines, less waste is generated, the environmental burden is reduced and the life cycle of the products also increases.

Presentation of the project content:
During the present project at MAD-WERK Kft., the development of a new, multifunctional hunter-fisherman boat will be implemented. The Company will develop a catamaran hull, which enables much more stable floating on the water. In addition, the hull will be designed in such a way that it has at least 10 air chambers, thus even in the event of damage to the hull, it remains safely on the water. An important element of the development will be to design the hull in such a way that it is just possible to drive onto it with a quad, and that the boat can also carry it. The boat will maximally satisfy the needs of fishermen and hunters.
